Double Block Mount
The double block mount kit includes hardware but no band clamps (you'll need to reuse those you received when you purchased the Tool-Tube System or purchase the band clamps separately). This maximum strength mount kit works well for mounting to a vertical or horizontal surface with ample room to accommodate the full length of the mounts. The mounting surface is 3.9 in. long, 0.625 in. wide, with hole centers at 3.25 in. and attaches to a flat surface, such as a skid-plate, or underside of a flat metal rack, or on the side or back of a metal pannier, in a vertical, horizontal or irregular position. You could use it on the bottom of a metal pannier, but we would hate to see you give up the cornering clearance on your GS while you are leading the sport-bikes through the gap, or something similar.
Each of the mounts attach with two M8 stainless steel button head bolts, washers, and lock nuts, and the tube is held fast to the mounts with vinyl-coated mil-spec band clamps.
